Hi! My name is Mary.
I to suffer from OCD, anexity, and many other problems I am in recovery for those problems and alcohol and drugs. I wanted to share with you about a book that my mother wrote. I hessitated to read it for the longest time but when I finally did it actually made sence to me and help me in many areas of my recovery. This book is a spiritual guide to the 12 step programs you can look it over at www.spiritualinfusion.com and print off a free work book it is for sale on almost all online bookstores like amazon.com and barnes and nobel. This book is being used in prisons, churches and 12 step recovery groups. I hope that by putting this on here maybe it can bring comfort to you and many others. I truly understand OCD and Anexity I actually drive 2 hours from where I live to see a doctor for anexity and other problems only because he helps me and I trust him. If that tells you anything. Alot of people don't understand but, I have a feeling you might.. take care and I hope this book might help you please let me know... you can email me from myspace spiritualinfusion or from the website www.spiritualinfusion.com I run those for my mom and when I have emails for her to read she gets in there and takes care of them.. take care God Bless -Mary

Interesting, and quite true.

As a sufferer of HOCD, BDD, Pure-O (perhaps stating
'OCD' would suffice...?) I can certainly make the connection between society/media and my obsessions/compulsions.

Its also worthy to note how certain colloquial and slang terms/phrases actually become triggers for spiking.

Yes, OCD likes to stay up to date and hip.
